Kryptor: open source file encryption tool

#1 Post by MakoSoft »

Kryptor is free and open source file encryption portable software.

Using Kryptor is easy: simply drag and drop a file or a folder to the app's
window, enter a password, and click the Encrypt button. The decryption
is similar: load encrypted file by drag and drop, enter the password and
click the Decrypt button.

Kryptor uses the latest data encryption solutions. Default encryption
algorithm XChaCha20 is highly valued due to its security and speed.
Numerous aids are offered, among others: secure keyfile generation,
renaming of encrypted files and folders, memory encryption to protect
sensitive data, password and passphrase generator, auto clear clipboard
after copying passwords and many options for customization (settings).

Program interface is well-designed: clear, simple, easy to understand and
convenient for the user. At the same time, the Author provides carefully
prepared, easy to read descriptions of operations with this application.

Kryptor is free and open source software licensed under GPLv3.
