I have just extracted the files from the installer using Uniextract and copied the all the files in the {apps} directory to the destination directory and that seems to be good enough. There seems to be no configuration, no ini files and no entries in the registry. I guess you could also install, copy the program directory to your portable device and uninstall.

Tested the app... and wasn't really pleased with the results.
I guess if you don't have Sound Forge, it's okay...

TP109 pointed me to this from a related thread.

Handles batch operations, and sounds great. The only negative was the presence of a certain low volume moment that would happen after a few moments of silence. This happened with spoken word files I worked on where the volume was clear, sharp, and specific until a pause between speaking. The next word would sound like someone backed away from the microphone for a moment and then leaned in.

This is pretty nitpicky -- it otherwise sounds very good.

Status: Portable - writes no settings
Stealth: Untested

Edit: the program was developed by a group that specifically worked with spoken-word recordings a lot so, again, for the majority of users this is going to be just fine.

According to my tests, it does use the Windows cache in the registry, although I don't think that counts against it being stealth. Anyway, here is the database entry. Vote and/or edit as necessary!

Yeah I'm cool with adding it. The program itself is exceedingly simple to use and something that we could point non-technical users to for effective voice normalization. Good audio edit tools seem to live a long, long time (can't tell you how many times I used CoolEdit96 before finding out about Audacity and then Wavosaur).

Anyway ... voted.
