Nice find, loin2kolpotoru. 8)

Theoretically, NotepadGNU has every feature I could wish for in a text editor -- but I found a few niggles while testing, though...
  • it creates a 'Parameters.ini' file in %WINDIR%;
  • the opened file history kept in 'NotepadGNU.ini' (in program's folder) is stored with absolute paths, not relative;
  • although non-essential, localization files are in the 'localization' sub-folder with yet another ini, 'Lang.ini';
  • attempting to set the "Settings | General | Design" Style option resulted in a double error dialog ("Unable to write to [%APPDATA%]\GHISLER\wincmd.ini");
  • even if available and selected in settings, URL activation seemed not to be working;
  • the "Tools" menu option defaulted to "Russian Layout"(?) even with an English interface;
  • the English interface translation appears half-done in a disconcerting Runglish dialect (note to self: see if this can be helped...);
  • current development status is uncertain, present v2.2.8.32 release dates back to 2010-12-01 (while wholly Russian homepage at http://wonderwork.ucoz.com/ has no apparent mention);
  • there are loads of menu options, but no help file.
All of these are really minor issues, but keeping in mind NotepadGNU belongs in a category teeming with alternatives, it certainly doesn't bode well for its offer... :|
