How do the ID Tags interfere with using explorer?

If you buy a music player for your files, you will need to add them back since most of the major players work from the tags rather than folders/directories.

ID3 Suggestion

That is very true. You should set up a system for naming and tagging your files so that everything is consistent. If all your files are named/tagged the same, they are easier to locate. Ex: Filename = "<artist name> - <song title>" This will make it very easy to locate that particular artist in any program/explorer. If you keep you ID3 tags updated you can even use "ID3 to Folder" to rename your files and create an organized file system for your mp3s.
