Thanks for adding Mcool to the database. Mcool is not my favourite audio player but it might be very useful since it supports all common and some not so popular audio formats (the developer has added support even for TAK- Tom's lossless Audio Kompressor files) out of the box, in contrast with foobar2000 for example, which requires to download additional components even for playing a rather common format like APE (Monkey's Audio). In the past there were several skins but they have been removed. Yet the 'GUI' can be changed a bit- I will show how Mcool looks on my system:
In my opinion Mcool is not very intuitive, its 'Options' menu is too small and doesn't look well and overall this player is not easy to handle but it is tiny, light, customizable, it offers some interesting features ('Side hide' for example) and its support for Cue Sheets (CUE) is excellent (which is an essential feature for me).
I guess that the users can add their own wallpapers in 'wallpaper' folder inside 'plugins' folder but I haven't tested that.
And yes, I voted for Mcool, which, in my opinion, deserves to be in the database. No doubt Mcool is not for everyone but it works fine, it's and is regularly updated.
P.S.
I have just discovered that the developer of Mcool has provided a separate download for Mcool wallpapers.
Support for OptimFROG (OFR) files has been added but the required 'dlls' are not included so they should be downloaded separately from Un4seen web-site (BASS_OFR).

There are separate add-ons for Video plug-in, Winamp Milkdrop2 Visual Effects, Winamp Audio plug-ins, Lastfm DLL&SRC, have you tried any of those?

No, I haven't. I will add a note about playing of OptimFROG (OFR) files, one needs to visit http://www.un4seen.com/, go to BASS->add-ons and download 'BASS_OFR 2.4.0.2', extract the archive and put 'OptimFROG.dll' in the same folder where is 'mcool.exe', while 'bass_ofr.dll' should be put in 'plugins' folder.
