Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

UnicodeInput Utility

#1 Post by dot »

Found this here the other day:

http://www.fileformat.info/tool/unicodeinput/index.htm

Very simple utility, that makes it easy to enter the unicode in applications. Just unzip and run. Didn't test whether it writes to registry, but my feeling tells me no. ;-)

My comment is rather off topic but it seemed opportune to raise a query with the experts on the site.
Every so often, when saving a text file (default ASCII) I get a message to the effect that the file contains Unicode character(s).
Obviously I can spot weird Cyrillics etc but very often I can't see any odd characters. Is there some software that will highlight the offending character(s)
