Dl @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/vym/fil ... e/download and extract (either with 7-Zip or Uniextract). The application files are in the $_OUTDIR folder. Launch vym.exe (in bin folder).

Portable: Yes (Not thoroughly tested)

Settings: vym.ini in application folder (bin folder)

Stealth: Writes Trolltech keys to the registry.

The developer stated it is written in C++ but I could not find any reference to it when analyzing the .exe file.

Good find ... unfortunately, 7zip extraction seems to break the Help menu, and as the interface is a bit different than other mindmap programs, that really tripped me up.

Did you install VYM to check that the Help menu works? (It doesn't. I will report it to the developer.)
