Probably because of this:

The blog post with the download link (currently still the most recent blog post) is here

The update feature of WSCC is so easy to use! Until Nir Sofer implements something like that I'll stick to the unofficial one.

True WSCC is a very good application and I will probably stay with it even if NirLauncher finally reaches Stable status.

Second Beta is available and no cap per IP Address anymore.

I'm guessing Nir Sofer got pretty mad on KLS guys. :)
He also offers the instructions for using sysinternals apps with his launcher.

My sentiments exactly :D
This is a great tool for the old maintenance usbstick. Not a bad way to keep on top of the most important utilities.
Would be nice to share home made app package files (.nlp) here.

I currently have SysInternals,Nirsoft,SoftwareOK,and Piriform packages set up.
Its kind of a pain gettin the links together but nice when its done.

Would be nice if the apps didnt all have to be in the same folder...

I strongly recommend following the process for getting the SysInternals Programs included in the program launcher. Nirsoft's launcher organizes the SysInternals programs very well according to those that are command line and those that are GUI. Plus it puts together a whole lot of great free windows utilities. Takes up 36 megs.

More on this over at lifehacker.

I recommend Windows System Control Center because it has an automatic update feature, can NirSoft Launcher update SysInternals?

We're up to v1.11.34 and there's more than just support for Sysinternals now (more on that below).

That would be pretty cool, but it looks like it just has basically INI files that describe utlities from SysInternals, Joeware, and Piriform. You still have to download those tools for yourself. Sysinternals happily has a download-them-all page.

Piriform does a few programs hosted here on the site including CCleaner, Defraggler, Recuva, and Speccy.
Joeware is primarily a lot of really cool admin-oriented command line tools.
