Forgotten where I came across this util, but have been using it for a long time now. Did a quick search and couldn't find it in the applications or forums, so thought I'd post it here.

Description:
Quote:
This small GUI (Graphical User Interface) utility will display your current System Uptime in Weeks, Days, Hours and Minutes. There is no install/uninstall. Download XP_SystemUptime.zip and extract the EXE file to your hard drive. Create a shortcut to XP_SystemUptime.exe in your Startup folder, or anywhere you desire. To remove System Uptime, simply delete the EXE file and any shortcut you create. This application is freeware.

It's small, no nonsense, resides in your system tray and does what it says.

No, it does.

I think the term is "should" rather than "does".

Doesn't work on my 7.64 either. I think it doesn't work on any 64bit system.

Works on all three of my Win 7 64-bit machines. They're different version of Win 7 too.

Well the screenshot posted in the database entry was captured from my server.

Clearly there's an issue though. I wonder what it is?

You know I'm not the developer right? Judging by the name I guess it was written for XP originally. Odd though it works on my three Win7 machines and yet nobody else's.

Well I have no idea why it works for you as it doesn't for me.

On my 64-bit Windows 8, System Uptime does launch but doesn't give any information. I have attached a screenshot.

OK, so I "fixed" it! :)

Just put another version of msvbvm60.dll file where XP_SystemUptime.exe is, so it wouldn't use my system's version of that file. The msvbvm60.dll file I used is 32bit version 6.0.98.2.

I can't vote for it unless someone else confirms this works only with 32 bit version of msvbvm60.dll present and we put it as a note to that submission.

P.S. @allclownsareevil: 14 minutes... come on! :D

Edit: now I'm confused! I deleted the msvbvm60.dll file and the app continues to work fine! WTF!?

Please, disregard my previous post!

It's simply just another Sandboxie issue (works fine outside it)! :)

Voted!
