Texter is a system tray application that saves you countless keystrokes by replacing user-defined snippets of text with your commonly used text phrases.

However, Texter is also portable, so if you want to take it with you on your portable drive, you can grab the texter.exe executable.

System Requirements: Texter is Windows only. It's been tested it on Windows XP, and all reports so far have been positive. That's not to say Texter is without flaw - you are our guinea pigs on this one.
On Vista, results have been a mixed bag.

Smaragdus posted in entry comments (https://www.portablefreeware.com/index. ... mment30197) that the download site is broken. I may have found a mirror: https://github.com/adampash/texter/tree ... leases/0.6

I think that's correct so I'll go ahead and post that as our mirror.
