Please give us some details on what was wrong with the portables you tested, smaragdus. It just might ease the search for solutions. :?

@Midas
I can't remember the exact version of ocenaudio I tested but it saved its settings outside its program folder and it failed to use these settings on restart. I got the impression that the developer failed to understand what portability meant and simply released archives containing all ocenaudio files. I think it would be better to test it yourself if you are interested.

@Midas
Thank you for the notification- ocenaudio version 3.0.5 now saves settings in the right place (which was not the case with the previous portable versions I tested once). Also ocenaudio seems to be portable but I cannot confirm it 100%- I had ocenaudio installed and uninstalled it but it is possible that Geek Uninstaller might have failed to delete all registry strings. It would be nice someone to test ocenaudio for portability on a system where it has never been installed.

I am glad that the developer fixed the problem with the portable editions. ocenaudio looks cute and I think that I prefer ocenaudio to Audacity (however I am not an audio expert and I have never explored the depths of both programs).

Note- now ocenaudio saves data and settings in settings sub-folder inside program folder (ocenaudio.config, ocenaudio.settings, etc).

The interface seems decent. From the screenshots it looks like it only supports editing single files? If that's the case I'll probably stick to Audacity.

ocenaudio has been added to the database.

Please examine ocenaudio stealth status- I have used previous, non-portable versions of the program which might have left remnants in the registry.
