Sort of an uber server:

Quote:
Serva32 / Serva64 (Serve All) is a full featured

HTTP server
FTP server
TFTP server
TFTP client
DHCP server
Proxy DHCP (PXE)
DNS server
SNTP server
SYSLOG server

Serva32/64 main goal is the fast deployment of a stable platform running several server protocol engines under the hood of a single tiny executable. One of its main application field is the fast set-up of Net boot environments using PXE (Preboot Execution Environment).

Have not tested yet but looks promising:

Quote:
Serva32/64 is completely portable; it does not require installation, it will not store keys on your Windows registry.

Just tested the HTTP server part of Serva64 on my win7x64: it saves settings in serva.ini file in the same folder, but it also writes some window position settings to [HKLM\software\SERVA] registry key.

Not stealth. Thanks Joby -- author has been emailed.

Note that the program has an advertisement window at the bottom, but obviously we accept some adware so that won't discount it from getting into the database. So far has been very useful and a super-simple alternative to HFS as well as the only server on the site for many other protocols (DNS, DHCP, TFTP, etc).

Got a reply:

Quote:
You are definitely right, for some reason that key is still making it to the registry,
I think it escaped Serva’s registry clean up because it’s not a configuration parameter.
I will remove it in the next version.
Thanks for taking the time to report your finding

Good stuff.

Thank Pat -- I'll check it out and put together an official entry hopefully in the next few days.

Note that the author has added a box for advertisements at the bottom of the screen. Given the ease and simplicity along with the list of unique network services, I thought this was worth it.

wow the popularity index got lowered by exactly 100 in the last 24 hours.
anything to do with a problem in the new version or it's just some index algorithm mistake?

Best

It's by design. The popularity score only takes into account the amount of traffic in the last 30 days: http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11234

Popularity score getting lowered this way means that exactly one month ago (when Serva32 had just been added) the program got 100 points in 24 hours. It has now lost those points.
