Actionaz - cross-platform, GPL'd automation program - tested v. 3.0.0

Not portable: writes settings (and trolltech stuff) to the registry

Synopsis:

Actionaz is an automation tool that allows you to emulate clicks, key presses, read the content of a file, play a sound, download a file or a Web page, etc.

It has 40 different actions and can be used under Windows and Linux.

You can even program some custom behaviour using Javascript.

My steps:

1. Run Universal Extractor
2. Move programs out of the {App} subfolder
3. Run actionaz,1.exe

New instructions:

1. Run Universal Extractor
2. Move programs out of the {App} subfolder
3. Delete actionaz,2.exe (its a dupe of actionaz,1.exe)
4. Rename actionaz,1.exe to actionaz.exe
5. Run actionaz.exe --portable

Unfortunately, changing the settings causes a program crash. I think I can work around that for the time being.

Saves data to userSettings\Actionaz
Stealth: no -- still writes trolltech stuff to registry
Disk Space: 50 megs
RAM: 36 megs

Actiona version 3.9.2 started with portable parameter:

actiona.exe --portable

still writes to registry. The developer confirmed the issue and promised to try to fix it. A peep at GitHub Project Page shows that the developer is working on it.
