As drives get bigger, a doc manager would have been very useful to help keep track of your drive contents, especially for backups.
There may be a way to get it to behave portably, but it seems difficult: the program wants to run at startup, use a monitor program, and context menus. The 1.4.0.1 free version was a little buggy and resource heavy so I gave up on this pretty early in the process.
