Previously shareware, and having turned free (free license details included in the download package), Venis IX
saw its development arrested in 2007. Still it can be interesting as alternative to HM NIS Edit
, which stopped in 2005...

UniExtract, run and adjust paths in menu "Tools | Preferences" -- e.g., it accepts relative paths consisting only of file or folder names, but it will still save its settings to the registry (at "HKCU\Software\Spaceblue\Venis IX" and hijacking NSIS associations); it will create empty folders in %APPDATA% ("Venis IX\sessions", unless you set Sessions Path to ".\SomeFolder").
