Something more advanced TPFCers might find useful -- it has a no install version...

A real-time, always on top, "replica" of a window of your choice, based on DWM Thumbnails.
Requirements: You will need the .NET 2.0 framework and Windows Vista Home Premium (or better). The DWM Thumbnails functionality is only available if AERO is enabled.

(Sort of) old thread update: this caught my eye mostly because I couldn't understand what it does

Lifehacker's breakdown was helpful to understanding
http://lifehacker.com/5566089/ontoprepl ... ays+on+top

... but really the klopfenstein link Midas pointed to is the most instructive

Just thinking: since the .Net dependency is only 2.0 and it is quite unique, wouldn't this qualify for Submissions?

Yeah I think it's fine and I'll move it.

Note that the dotNET dependency is less restrictive than the fact that it only works on Vista home premium or better and only with Aero enabled. In other words, a large percentage of computers you run across can't run this. That said, it's functionality is unique enough and cool enough that maybe that's ok.

It may have a 'no-install' version though this doesn't mean it's Portable to TPFC standards. I can't/won't test as I don't have .NET on my test machine.
