I needed to access some Silverlight content today and wanted to run it in a portable browser without installing.

Came across these tips that was handy and wanted to share my research!

Download the Silverlight 4 SDK from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/se ... ight%20sdk

Then follow these instructions:

I couldn't find the following three files in Silverlight 4:
* silverlight.configuration.EXE
* silverlight.configurationui.DLL
* sllauncher.EXE

But the Silverlight video still worked without them! You could potentially get rid of more files, but I haven't tried.

Also the note about Netflix DRM is important if you use Netflix, so you might need Silverlight 3 instead.
