I created a WebVersions database of the Apps included in Universal Extractor to help the checking of updates. So I will post here if an update arises.

We could think to add a note under Universal Extractor that links my unofficial updated release. Is it ok for you?

I don't have understand if TrIDDefs.TRD works fine with Universal Extractor, because in this case I could update it too.

I have had no problems from updating the definitions, it's really only a minor update to be honest.

Lupo, I've been doing the same updating with my UniEx, and I've noticed something. I had been updating 7zip, but on the legroom forums, someone who does the same noted that although 7zip.exe could be updated, UniExtract would hang if 7zip.dll was updated past version 9.40. You are using 9.65 for both. (BTW, 7zip is at 9.7  )

9.07 is considered beta and thus hasn't be tested as much as 4.65. I use 9.07 too but some people might have problems on their system, therefore it's better for the average user to stick with 4.65.

Could it be, that it is V9.07 ... and not V9.7 :?:
BTW: There is also a V9.08 alpha available

innounp V0.28 is available.
Added support for IS versions 5.3.7 (both ANSI and Unicode).
Added support for legacy IS versions 2.0.11 - 2.0.17.
Fixed renaming of duplicate files. If we do not use -a then don't append numbers to names (this switch does not affect different files with same name, only duplicates with same content).
TrIDDefs.TRD was updated on 12/01/10.
