May be, but it is strange that:
- the v5.52 is named "unz552xn.exe" and is 357kb (upxed), in UniExtract is named "unzip.exe" and only 70kb (upxed)
- the v6.00 is named "unz600xn.exe" and is 405kb (upxed) --> why?

Those files are self-extracting archives. Their default behavior is to silently extract to the current folder, but you can specify a folder with "-d "<path to folder>" in the command line, or you can also open them up in a GUI like PeaZip or 7-Zip and just pull out unzip.exe.

The homepage of Info-ZIP says that fUnZip is for extracting in a pipe, so I suspected that this 57 KB file was the one we wanted, but I was wrong (it didn't work in UniExtract). However, the "unzip.exe" file from the unz600xn archive works, and it's 93 KB when upx'ed.

Great. I've done it also by myself until now.
Can you also post the unofficial changelog on your site?
Normaly I don't download any program without knowing what's inside and what was changed.

The various apps used in UniExtract could be added to a webversions list and then passed around here to help in testing...

I have prepared the last unzip version 6.00 to be included, but I'm waiting to know if there are other components to be updated before release a new Revision (I have decide to call my updates revisions, because I'll update only internal components and nothing more).

As you can see, I have linked in the software box the change log of my revisions. I saw in this topic about other component updates as msi2xml, TrID and PEiD. Can you tell me what of them could be updated?

Sorry but I don't have time to maintain RSS of my project too (I'm searching someone interested in maintain it).

Anyway, each time someone report here an update of some UniExtract components, I'll release a new revision of it.
