Poedit-compatible program with search and replace?

#1 Post by giulia »

Hi
i have translated a po file with poedit
but i need a more powerfull program like notepadd++ to search & replace or other feature

i have noticed that notapad++ can read the po file but no correctly , i mean it reads but i tried to perform a text search for a term , and notepad++ found 5 entries
in poedit there almost 50 entries with the same name

thanks

Did you mean to post this elsewhere? Poedit isn't on the site and (according to Wikipedia) isn't freeware. Might try the main site: https://github.com/vslavik/poedit

Also, that's a really long subject heading.

hi
yes , i have asked around just because i need it
i'm looking for a program like notepad++ that can open po files but with more feature then poedit
in poedit ,there is a replace feature but doesn't work
is there a program like notepad++ or SynWrite that can write correctly and do some edits?

Oh okay. I don't have any insight there but maybe someone can chime in on that.

I've done a moderator edit on that just because I think the topic will be easier to find. (It was "Re: Hi i have translated a po file with poedit but i need a more powerfull program like notepadd++ to search & replace")
