Providing source code in open source portable apps

Taking inspiration from discussion born in this topic, we contacted SourceForge to definitively solve the source code issue. Here you can find our public ticket. Now the situation seems much more clear and this opinion clarifies the question more than any other point of view. So, hereafter, as stated in linked ticket, as long as we notify the users where the source is, according to SourceForge's Terms ("3. USER CONTENT", "Compliance" paragraph, point "b"), we will be SourceForge compliant.
