<Weird unicode characters thread issue>

Could it be that there simply is a link to such a search somewhere (and people are clicking it from time to time)?

A google for the text didn't turn up anything obvious.

Even assuming there's a link somewhere that links to this search, there's still no easy solution to this problem other than manual intervention at our end.

Actually, the current logic already does. But this led me to find out a quirk in the search logic that returned results for that particular search. That quirk was fixed, and the search no longer returned any results, so it should no longer appear in the popular search list.
