You can disable graphical smileys in any post by ticking the "disable smilies" checkbox under the textbox.
Example: (Windows 8)

I automatically hit "Preview" or "Submit" and that's it. I must have seen
Disable smilies check-box once but I have completely forgotten about it. By the way I rarely use emoticons and I saw the "Windows 8 in brackets" joke today.

Hmmm, I can probably patch the code to make the title link to the last unread msg, but it will happen across the board.
Would anyone be displeased with this new (non-phpBB) behaviour?

can you make the [ pre ]-formatted text more distinguishable? It can be easily missed
now if you are not looking for it.
Like give it a different color or something as in stackoverflow.

FYI, shown as pre-formatted red text only in alternative board skin (
prosilver).

I like the blue example. It's very readable with my feed reader (Feedbro in dark mode).

Thanks. Keep in mind that the text background should ensure it is visible even if the theme is also blue for example.
Also, I don't think Midas can handle the level of aliasing in you screenshot!
