The field “Signature” is too long, a maximum of 0 characters

#1 Post by vmars316 » Fri Feb 10, 2012 2:13 pm

Greets,
I am trying to add a signature line (65 characters),
but get the following msg:
"The field “Signature” is too long, a maximum of 0 characters is allowed."
Is this because I recently joined & need to build up a history? or?
Thanks...vmars316

I remember talking about spam links in signature of new forum members but I am not sure if/what measures were taken as a result of that discussion.

@Moderator
Is this a limit imposed on new forum users?
Also, please move to "Site Matters"

Cheers

I've suggested some restrictions on new users to help prevent spam "anchors" in the past, but I can't speak to that issue.

@vmars316: Can you edit your signature now?

I think until at least one of your first posts are approved, you won't be able add your signature.

Could this be browser related? Or is someone else having the same problem?

I have done all the necessary checks, and everything seems ok.

Why don't you tell me the signature you'd like to have, and I will put it in for you using the admin control panel.
