Opera secret project.
Opera secret project.
Before I continue with the 'secret project', I would like to know if the test application finds Opera as well as the default profile & URLFilter.ini.
Note: This isn't for Opera Portable but Opera installed, as the folder structures are different in the 64-bit version, but are exactly the same in Opera Portable.

Thanks.

Re: Opera secret project.
Thanks lautrepay. I take it those locations are correct for you?
Re: Opera secret project.
Yes, they are.guinness wrote:I take it those locations are correct for you?
Re: Opera secret project.
Phew! That's a good sign
Re: Opera secret project.
I don't like your Note (but I had to run this)!
Re: Opera secret project.
Do you have Opera installed? If not then don't worry, as Opera Portable detection is easy due to the fact everything is contained in the 'profile' folder
I'm still keeping tight lipped on what I have planned though.

Re: Opera secret project.
Of course not! What question is that!?
Re: Opera secret project.
I have my Portable version too, but I've had problems setting it to be the default, so I have an installed version too. Well in case some borrows my PC for a while!
Re: Opera secret project.
OK, try this version >> http://db.tt/Iwzv6E62 it will now detect if Opera is your default application for htm/html files and find it that way. So if your portable Opera is the default application then voila!
Re: Opera secret project.
It partially works for me:
Re: Opera secret project.
Do you use PortableApps or the official version? What should the values be?
Re: Opera secret project.
I use the official version.
Opera path is correct, but the other paths are empty. Or is this the way it was meant to work on portable versions?

Re: Opera secret project.
I used to NirSoft's FileTypesMan to change the default application to my portable Opera and I can reproduce it. Expect an update by today.
Re: Opera secret project.
It wasn't my code but 'PathUnExpandEnvStrings' instead. Try again with the same link above and thanks for helping me
