program should be: easy, fast, convenient : extra unnecessary body movements - CTRL for example. (it would be superfluous)

alternative - the cube, to do VERY -VERY LARGER, to shoot with the mouse directly exactly in ten
)
exactly , I will not mishit.

first try, maybe you will like it. click in a row - enable \ disable the checkbox

it will be very convenient ( enable / disable) the rules of the Association. It will be possible to refuse and cancel it in the program. at any moment
Thank you.

.............sorry Lupo73
the possibility to hide the icon with the edge of the screen

very need DELAY:

Reveal delay 600 ms
Hide delay 200 ms

Because of this ctrl-click on a row would be better: an average user could not accidentally enable/disable rules and advanced users could do it easily.
many users - adapt () !!!
many users will get used to it after!!!

Timer disappearance icons, if not using several minutes!

Me sometimes interfere, dustbin, on top of all Windows.
i.e.
I have created the Association of the rules:
for folders ** delete everything in the trash
for files * delete everything in the trash
and enable the option, the program icon is always on top of other Windows.

Example:
Being in any folder, I just Drag&Drop the selected files to the recycle bin icon.
And the files and folders go sent to the recycle bin.
after a time, I the recycle bin icon on top of Windows is not needed.
I need an icon automatically: hiding, ( disappeared at the edge of the screen). after 3 minutes of non-use.
and again appearing when I will bring upon her mouse.

i.e. (cursor, to the edge of the screen. and the icon will return again - 3 minutes)
TIMER DISAPPEARANCES ICONS

able to configure the time (timer), the disappearance of the icon in the side of the screen.

video: after'll post

------------------------
notice I didn't use the DEL key
I do not choose files, then press the DELETE key
I instantly, Drag & Drop files and folders, which, I don't need, i am move in the trash.
Thank's, Lupo73!!

1. Added Alt+drop folders to remove them from monitored folders.
2. I'm thinking about the solution to enable/disable associations, I'll try both your proposals, but I'm not sure the click-only is a good way.
3. I added the reveal/hide time delay to the list of requests, even if with a low priority.
4. Now I'm adding the timer to the auto-hide feature.

I always include an option: Enable multiple instances
and I operate several different profiles.

is it possible? so that, each icon has his own personal timer hide.

it is a small addition to the timer
--------
it's the hardest, I think so

It is a quite complex improvement wih limited advantages.. I'll add to the list of feature requests, but I don't know if I'll implement it..

Lupo73 wrote:Good. In the meanwhile I worked to the next version 6.2 and I'm considering to publish it. If you would like to test it, I replaced the option to "ignore files if size changes" with an option to "ignore files if in use", that may helps to better do what you need. This is the beta:
http://www.lupopensuite.com/files/dropi ... rtable.zip

Hey Lupo, I downloaded 6.2 and tried the new option "ignore files if in use" and I'm sorry to say it didn't work for me. As indicated I'm running it on Win7 x64 Ultimate. For now I'm happy withe the delay or 2 mins > ModifiedDate. It works like a charm every time.

Thanks

Does Dropit work in multithread mode?

I have make some copy comparation with "robocopy". Robocopy is very fast, and I can give a Parameter for the amount of threads.

Just noticed an odd issue with DropIt. I use Total Commander as file manager, and have set DropIt to the Send To Menu. I highlight a file in TC, right click, Send To-->DropIt. DropIt opens, and I am prompted for the association to use. Now, if I move the mouse slightly, the tooltips from the files in Total Commander display (the DropIt Window is on top of the Total Commander window). For some reason, the DropIt window does not seem to be capturing the mouse and the mouse is still being captured by TC underneath. The tooltip is quite noticeable as you move the mouse, once you stop moving the mouse, the DropIt tooltip pops up over the top of the TC tooltip:

Really odd.

Well, I'm not sure what could be the reason. But does the Select Action work?

Anyway, the new version 7.0 of DropIt is available! The final list of changes is quite long. :)

I also decided that, at the first run, DropIt creates some special profiles to easily show some of its possible "skins" to the users.
