As some of you may know, linux distros (e.g. RIPLinux, PartedMagic) have updated Partimage to 0.6.9.

The problem is that Partimage 0.6.9 failed to restore an image created with 0.6.8
Luckily I still had a distro with 0.6.8 and successfully restored the image.

So after restoring the image I immediately booted into a newer distro and created a new image with 0.6.9.

I now have the exact image I created with 0.6.8 to be restored with 0.6.9, tried and true.

I thought I'd put this out there in case anybody who has created an image (offline) with Partimage 0.6.8 and
is planning to restore with a newer distro; make sure you have 0.6.8 available; in the event of failure you will not
be able to boot your machine.
