Re: CCleaner, Defraggler, Recuva, Speccy 4in1 Pack Portable

If you have not (as moderator over at piriform) I'm afraid I will have to report you to those developers. - You may NOT resell, charge for, sub-license, rent, lease, loan or distribute the Product witho...

Re: exporting embedded INI files from CCleaner: how to?
While this is best asked over at the piriform forum, I can answer this one first custom locations for browsers (Chrome, Firefox only) http://www.piriform.com/docs/ccleaner/advanced-usage/ccleaner-ini-files/how-to-clean-user-data-from-non-standard-mozilla-browsers Next "Barracuda" by this d...

Re: BleachBit
The Users who post the entries usually test them. When I, or the member who is compiling them, or any other member has a program we check out the testing (I even at times will install a program to test it) they're usually caught pretty fast. but yes we do catch right away something such as FileKey1=...

Re: BleachBit
I'm one of the moderators over at Piriform (CCleaner). We have a HUGE winapp2.ini file that is community updated/hosted/maintained available in the forums http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=32310 as of today 534 entires and growing. Re: Portable software for Windows 8
Win 7 is a big, big piece of code... Will it even fit in a tablet? I realize bytes have little mass in a literal sense, but... Sure why not, I currrently have 7 HP Slate500s running on my domain and they work great. Infact they almost call for portable software as P.S seems to be more friendly for ...

Re: Is portable winning?
 I'm not sure I even understand the query. Winning what? portablity is just code for you don't have to install it on a PC and can take it with you on your flash drive. So no, most commercial products (which wish to be tied to a single installation on a single machine) will not go portable.

Write Only Drive Suddenly
Hey, I figured this place (of the forums I frequent) would be the best to ask this. I've been happily using my toolbox drive for all things portable. Today I reinstalled John Haller's Portable versions of Audible and 7Zip (I don't think that was the issue but is needed information) and was syncing f...
