Re: Portableapps hits a billion downloads
This is a huge milestone indeed. As an ongoing consumer/user of TPFC and PortableApps alike, my hat is off to both Andrew and John. By far, these are the two BEST portable freeware sites available on the web. Congratulations to John for his tireless work to reach this achievement. And Andrew, my gue...

Midas is absolutely right... ClipDiary stores your images quite well. I use it to save text and images/screenshots. Also, I use FreeShooter to capture screenshots during conference calls or if I need to take a quick screenshot of website content. I will keep these items in ClipDiary for future refer...

Re: You're all wonderful
I agree 100%. This post is long overdue... There are so many who spend countless hours making the site the best in class. Although I am not an active contributor, I really appreciate the efforts of so many, making this my daily 'go-to' site for my evolving suite of portable Windows applications. A m...

Re: Textilosaurus - simple text editor
BTW, great job... I do like the URL highlighting.
Is there any chance you could add spell checking capabilities to the product? Along with the usual coding tasks, I would also use it for simple text file editing.
Thanks, Nick

Re: Vote for the 2017 best portablefreeware!
Don't want to taint the voting, but I selected CSearcher. This is a great replacement for the crappy Windows search. I can find my files quickly with little or no effort and the UI was well-designed. Also, my other honorable mention is ScreenToGif. These two are my choice as 'must haves' for 2017. C...

I sure hope they let John 'paf the app'. If they do, I will move from FF to Vivaldi.

Thanks for the direct link, tictactoe... I'll download and take it out for spin sometime this week.
