I don't see anything in that log posting that makes me think that this is a JPE-related problem [snip] But that key that the imm32 module is passing in to the RegCloseKey api function is definitely not valid. It's basically a NULL (no value) key [snip] you might take a look at your Foxit .reg file ...

putty 0.60

PuTTY version 0.60 http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/0.60/puttydoc.txt There already is a PuttyPortable at PortableApps.com but it writes to the system registry and you can't run multiple PuTTYs at the same time. This version seems to overcome both limitations. ; Putty version 0.60 http://the.eart...

post here the log lines for the last few Reg... sections. Maybe from the next-to-last RegOpenKeyEx call to the end of the log. That way we can go over it together at our leisure and see if something stands out that's different in the last sequence from the next-to-last sequence. OK, the last 3 RegO...

Apparently dll hooking succeeds, then a few registry open/query/close calls are logged then nothing else. It looks pretty obvious to me that you're really not interested in being pro-active about this, or interested in putting any sort of thought and time into this, so I guess I'll just leave you b...

Whatever it is, it isn't working too well with very recent WinXP makes. I reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows XP pro SP2 and now 0.1.6 isn't working well on my PC (foxit not running, unknown exception error boxes, etc.) Previously 0.1.6 was working just fine on my Windows XP pro SP1 upgraded to SP2...

I reverted back to 0.1.4 dll. Yeah, it's been a waste of my time too. Not entirely. It did make very significant progress in working with ecco and eccoext, so there's something good in it. Whatever it is, it isn't working too well with very recent WinXP makes. I reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows ...

UltraVNC viewer 1.0.4RC1

UltraVNC viewer 1.0.4 RC1 http://www.uvnc.com tested only with jauntePE.dll 0.1.6 logging version on WinXP Pro SP2 It's the viewer only, I don't care about making the server portable, though the upcoming 1.0.4 release stores settings in an ini file and not in the registry... 2. Foxit Reader 2.1 Does not start at all. I see both FoxitReader.exe and FoxitReader_portable.exe launch in TaskMgr, but both disappear within 2 seconds. Same behavior with both dll's. I don't think that this has anything to do with anything, but don't forget that I removed the "space" b...

Cool! version 0.1.6 works with ecco and ecco extension, thanks! I have to use a fixed launch sequence, first ecco_portable.exe then eccoext.exe -l (that's lowercase L). I have added the latter as an ecco toolbar launch item. Starting eccoext_portable.exe directly doesn't get ecco.exe started. But at...

Hey Redllar, version 0.1.6 fixed all problems, thanks!

Except the bogus 192.168.0.2 registry folder creation. That's still being created in error, and it's empty.
