Re: LibreOffice Portable now runs from paths with spaces

First of all, let me clarify English is my second language, maybe that's why my manner seemed so hard. Furthermore, it is quite difficult for us to speak fluently with you. If I offended anybody, I apologize. As I already said very often, I explained our intention has always been to be compliant wit...

Re: LibreOffice Portable now runs from paths with spaces

but it doesn't seem like the Java Get source code is available, despite the binary being hosted on SourceForge. Please, take the time to search in our repository before making a false statement! The JavaGet code is on SVN since 21 months, you have just to search it. As well as all our code, as I ha...

Re: Pale Moon

On a related note, they have introduced redistribution restrictions, even though its probably incompatible with both the MPL and GPL: http://www.palemoon.org/redist.shtml If I understand correctly, this restrictive license governs Pale Moon, but also Pale Moon Portable as a whole. It's funny becaus...

Re: Switching X-Inkscape to Inkspace Portable hosted by Inks

Reminder: Before you submit, please check if other members have already submitted the same application by typing "[@] appname" in the search box. I'm sorry for that. I did not do a search with that option. But, now I saw that strangely.. I commented the entry on 2011-04-08  Maybe I...

Re: Switching X-Inkscape to Inkspace Portable hosted by Inks

Why are you quoting an outdated bug report from 4 months ago listing issues that are already fixed? Again, Danix, please take the time to test the current version of one of our apps before making a false statement. Sorry, JohnTHaller. I've not tested the latest LibreOffice portable release. You are...

Re: Switching X-Inkscape to Inkspace Portable hosted by Inks

About X-RedNotebook, since the wpp version has reported on the official website, why it doesn't appear on TPFC? http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=2086 I have added a link to the X-RedNotebook page, updated the entry to version 1.1.8 and extended extraction instructions. Thanks SYSTEM. Da...

Re: XBlender V2.49b Rev 8

TPFC follow its own rules for listing software, but I checked that: The original version leave the .thumbnails directory in %UserProfile% and the temp files in C:\tmp. No bookmarks and recents paths are normalized. Blender Portable leave the temp files in C:\tmp and is not full-path portable (no boo...

Re: Switching X-Inkscape to Inkspace Portable hosted by Inks

Danix: Is this accurate? Is Inkscape Portable superior in terms of size/portability? As Haller has confirmed that Inskape Portable has not full support to Recent Files paths now I can say YES, if this is the requirement to be listed on TPFC. Danix: as such, I encourage you to contact the developers...

Re: What to list first and why

Hi John, open letter to You: why are you persisting in this way against alternative projects? Hi rikylov, thank you for your defense, but sincerely we don't think that there is such a persecution against winPenPack. Simply we are searching, as usual, to do all our best for let know our approach to ...

Re: Switching X-Inkscape to Inkspace Portable hosted by Inks

I took the time to download the latest X-Inkscape to be sure I had my facts straight on whether you'd copied and implemented our portablization method and environment variable (which you have, rather than your older APPDATA method). In the future, please do us the same courtesy before calling us ou...

Re: Switching X-Inkscape to Inkspace Portable hosted by Inks

But in the winPenPack version all paths of recent files (if files are saved in \Bin\Inkscape, \User\Inkscape or \Documents\Inkscape directories) are normalized when the drive letter or the software position changes. In the PA version, the recent files list is deleted every time. In the winPenPack v...

Re: Switching X-Inkscape to Inkspace Portable hosted by Inks

Danix: Is this accurate? Is Inkscape Portable superior in terms of size/portability? webfork , I think both versions are excellent. Also the winPenPack version is completely stealthy. Probably the two versions have only different features. For example, I noticed that Inkscape Portable is smaller th...

Re: Switching X-Inkscape to Inkspace Portable hosted by Inks

Obviously I disagree. X-Inkscape is one of the few software based on winPenPack technology that is not reported as an alternative to PortableApps versions. I think it's more just and equitable to leave the download page as it is.
