Re: Download.com problem
*Sigh* Another site to avoid.
I will say Sandboxie is GREAT for things like this though, incase it still trys to install things without permission.
Though i avoid such packaged installs a Much as possible, you really cant trust them, imo.

Re: What to list first and why
Didnt read the whole thread, but ive read some of the others where people discuss what the site should use. So i just want to add, that i feel it should work like this: The Main listing should be the Applications Official portable build or instructions with anything else listed as an alternative. If...

Re: Looking for Transcoding video server.
Just want to reply real quick here. Ruby, Thanks. that did the trick and converted all of the vids without any issues, (other then some annoyance with subfolders, but no issues with the videos themselves, ;)) So i can stream them with HFS and have no need for a media server. m^(2), thanks for your h...

Re: Update to popularity score algorithm
hrm. Maybe im misunderstanding this, but im a little iffy on it also. i think that the 'Popularity score' of each app, as voted by registered users should remain unchanged, to me, this is like what the community likes and feels is worth having, plus, itd be annoying if you have to like revote for yo...

Re: Looking for Transcoding video server.
Wow, Awesome, did not think itd be that easy. Thanks ^-^ This would be just as good as a streaming server because i can then just use HFS to host the folder and watch them, At best everything i have is like a year old, so they should be in the new format, ...But ;) Any idea how to make it like space...

Re: Migrating an existing installation of WinXP to another H
side note. Going off what you said but no real info about the install setup, most computers are set to boot up default off the C: drive, if its trying to boot off another drive, that means windows probably wasnt installed to C: and migrating it over from like D: to C: will cause other issues with wh...

Re: DropIt
well, im going to ask for a bit here and its going to move away from the portable side of the program, but as complex as its getting, i think itll be fitting, also, this probably isnt what you want to do with the program, but, yeah, :P Anyways, i think you should add an option for Dropit to add its ...

Re: LinkCollector Portable Edition
Ahhh, i see. Im sorry then, i misunderstood how it worked, ^-^;; I thought that when using 'Find portable browsers and bookmarks automatically' it copied the bookmarks to the Program under that tab, not just displayed the bookmarks from firefox, as for hiding the tabs, Thanks, i thought it would be ...

Well, i hate to say it, but i think it might not be spam, though i wont rule out the account being hacked, But think its referring to this: http://torrentfreak.com/italy-censors-proxy-that-bypasses-btjunkie-and-pirate-bay-block-110716/ Italy is taking its crusade against BitTorrent sites to an unpre...
