I'm sorry about that Yucca I didn't even realise Total Uninstall had gone payware. I can't guarantee Vista compatibility but if it helps http://www.aplusfreeware.com/categories/util/files/tun235.zip This is the last free version. It runs standalone on XP I can't remember how I extracted it though. b...

You may want to try Total Uninstall from Gavrila Martau.
It should pick up all changes the install makes and reverse them afterwards.

Total Uninstall uses the registry but it's only a key as far as I remember and can easily be removed.

Thanks for the reply m^(2). There haven't been that many, probably less than ten, but as I said everything else can be killed via Taskman. I remember some of the progs were running sandboxed and I couldn't terminate from sandbox control either. I have version 4 of APT an d have always been surprised...

Advanced Process Termination. And it works better than EIA, I've seen it dealing with some processes that were too tough for EIA. Has anybody come across an app, preferably stealth, that can do this job better than APT? There are very few processes that I cannot use Taskman to end I have been unabl...

Looks like a decent suite -as they go- I never really saw the point in full suite downloads though. I guess it is a good timesaver for those who want to load a usb stick quickly but I always find loads of apps I just wouldn't use in them. That said, the standard suite is looking pretty good right no...

Opendev seems pretty open about what he's doing here HappyPCGuy what are you doing? I really don't see the point in joining this forum just to bash somebody who John Haller doesn't approve of. If there is a problem with the software or it is illegal please tell, otherwise it looks like you're the on...

Thanks for taking a look at that Queue. I found the problem and it was my fault but also strange. I had USB disk eject on the same drive, as I was only testing this, and your app was calling that into the temp folder instead. The hang, I assume, was because my USB disk eject was a system file. An -S...

It's looking really great but is there anything that can be done about stopping CMD running after the disk has ejected? Mine takes up almost 100% CPU until I kill it in taskman. This is in XP home and Pro. Also, the remove screens don't come up only the Safe to remove window. I'm not even getting th...

Me? test for stealth? Of course :P The answer unfortunately is no. I've been in touch with the dev though and there is good news. A specialized portable edition is planned, but I cannot say when it becomes available right now. It is more than just the settings that need to be addressed. There are al...

I dunno if that's supposed to be better or worse.

If only we could get those apps portable without useless wrappers...

Oh wait... we can.

Since when was this messageboard an advertisement for portablecraps.com?
They get enough publicity from noobs everywhere.

I noticed on their site that the "3-D modeling" is a 30-day trial/demo feature, I wonder if it is a standalone module that can be eliminated from the installation if I don't want it (and I don't) I just installed it and the 3D shareware was optional, the installed app is istill 18 MB thou...

This forum really is going to shit isn't it?

Thanks to the few people who are still bothered with the site and not just in glorifying themselves (M@tty, GrannyGeek, Simon, Queue etc:) but if the last week on here is anything to go by as to what the future holds this is another member saying goodbye.
