Firewall
If anyone would like to help test this out I may have found the great firewall solution we've been looking for. Outpost free firewall only operates from it's own folder, for me it's a great firewall and can be configured really well. It can be moved between computers and as long as you run the insta...

I really didn't think there'd be many of these around and now I'm spoiled for choice. Good idea of saving the reg files Garbanzo but for my usage I reckon it's overkill. I only change an icon at a time now and again so I just ran up a reg file to delete the iconfile keys (It only leaves 1 it seems) ...

Well I have no need for this program but you have just helped me so much. You also made me feel quite stupid for not knowing the start /Wait command. I've been having to create 2 batch files for each app I've portabalized in this way this is going to make things so much neater. There is also an idea...

Thanks lots Baas. I think I'm keeping both of them :) At least it's gonna be easier to remove the reg keys than installing .Net. Madonote. has a lot of extra in there too and with support for 95 and upwards I think it's definitely a toolbox util. Slightly different subject, I found while trying to s...

Application Request - Icon Customization
I've been using a great little app CandyXP http://www.users.on.net/~mwilson9/candyxp/about.html which does everything that I want of it with no extra bullshit. Only problem is it runs off .net I'm looking for something that does the same job that I can use on any XP machine regardless of service pac...

Classic Beat'mups
I'm not sure if this should be a submission or not as it isn't officially developed anymore. Plus I'm deeply surprised it isn't already here, I did a search and found nothing so..... M.U.G.E.N. http://mugentournament.tripod.com/ If you haven't heard of it, it is a classic "D fighting game that ...

Is this different to

?
I loved that program (until I ran out of ideas =[)
I've not much time to check out all of the details so if someone knows the differences and could post?
Thanks

I know this is an old topic but those of you who use this might want to know.

I'm a little sceptical on this being a virus but 14 out of 36 is the highest I've ever found while testing on Virscan.

I think it would be advisable to make a note on the forum entry for TCexplorer. As of version 5 of Truecrypt it will not work. From the support forums Josh Harris created OTFExplorer which accesses TrueCrypt 4.x (LRW) containers using the container's password (no keyfile support; among other slight ...

Quick note about thindownload.com
I dunno if anybody is still downloading or using this software but a quick heads up.
It appears that their apps were created using a trial of thinstall and their trial time is over.
I've tried both fresh downloads and older things I downloaded a while ago and all come up with trial expired messages.

I've been dying to try this for ages so when I heard about the portable installation I jumped at the chance. Already though I'm disappointed. You can only transfer the program to 5 USB drives and each program is locked to that specific drive. It seems fine but I'm not sure where you stand if your US...
