Re: Site seems to be lacking/missing/maybe just slow on updates recently?

This was not a few hours difference though, it was almost a full 24 hours, what timezone is that off? This isn't a big deal I just though it was kinda fun/odd.

Re: Site seems to be lacking/missing/maybe just slow on updates recently?

I just updated AutoHotKey again, but their "official" source says March 10th, literally a day ahead, should I still go by that? (I went with the 9th, this time.) Note: This isn't some kind of beta or pre-release either, it's an official "new version". https://github.com/Lexikos/A...

Re: Site seems to be lacking/missing/maybe just slow on updates recently?

How do you handle timezones? I updated AHK just now which was released "1 Mar 2021", but for me on my end, it's still Feb 28th for ~30 more minutes. :P. I know this is super "edge-case-like" and won't come up often but do I go with 1 Mar 2021 or Feb 28th? What if the difference w...

That's what I though, but the previous date was dated as 2020 year and the previous release came out on feb 16 2021, so the year was wrong from before. Made me question what I did...

It was super easy, like editing a wiki, I'll try and help out more too!

Re: Site seems to be lacking/missing/maybe just slow on updates recently?

Oh, that was easy, and apparently I'm blind. Also you're fast.

EDIT: Oh crap I messed up, I edited the "Release Date" to when the update, and maybe should have left it as the original date...?

EDIT2: Okay fixed the missing Change log now lol, this is hard! Think it's time for bed.

Re: Site seems to be lacking/missing/maybe just slow on updates recently?

I think we need everyone to pitch in for this to be sustainable. Relying on 1 or 2 persons for what is supposed to be information crowdsourcing is not going to work in the long run. If there are some programs that you folks use regularly and are always in touch with updates, it would be much apprec...

Re: WizTree

@Special - It's not malware - it's the windows API function "WinVerifyTrust" (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/wintrust/nf-wintrust-winverifytrust) that was triggering the Internet connectivity. Hey your words not mine "I checked the IP 151.139.128.14 and it appears...

Re: WizTree

Thanks bitcoin for help proving I'm not crazy! even though I knew I wasn't because even Total Virus here proves that these connections do come from WizTree.exe and not from "my system"... v3.36: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/8cf9e97d4d36217ccfc19ac7c0e450b501bae1326ce28d137cff26f80ba...

Re: WizTree

Just chiming in to say that yes my build is/was (I went back to 3.35) official and taken from your site, and not some 3rd party. Total Virus showed 100% clean also, with a good Digital Signature. I have no suggestions anymore, other then do you remember what you did with WizFile, because this litera...

Re: LameXP - audio conversion

You should really give foobar a try, and switch to it webfork, no one should use outdated software, and the year+ wait between versions on LameXP isn't worth the "well I don't want to learn a new thing/new setup/my workflow"... Things might "seem fine" but the encoders are very o...

Re: LameXP - audio conversion

I'm not blaming you, life happens, hobbies change, what started 10 years ago might not something you care about now, but this happened IIRC last time too, and seems to be a reacurring thing every year: https://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=94666#p94666 If this is going to happening...

Re: LameXP - audio conversion

You should probably remove that "Jeopardy" update check if you cannot be bothered to keep your own program updated in a years time. Thanks for all the work you've done over the years, but that thing along made me switch away from LameXP. Now I just use foobar2000 as a nice little standalon...
