It does work on XP but it ain't stealth.
The settings are left in the application data directory.
Nothing too important in there but you want to leave the host machine spotless be warned

That's great news.
I tested a few betas a while back and was quite impressed but they always had really short expiry dates on them.

Those reg entries seem pretty negligible Drutt :) (thanks for the heads up) but isn't the win.ini only used for v18bit apps?

Ok scratch that, I found it at http://www.brothersoft.com/citrus-alarm ... 65222.html.

The database needs updating though.
The download is pointing to the new version

@joby_toss My only real reasons for not wanting to use .Net is that I like to know that my applications will run every time I start them on any machine I use. This usually makes me hunt out older versions of apps that run on 98 too. I have .Net on one of my Pc's and have some great .Net apps that I ...

I was getting excited reading this, I really like the look of it, until those fateful words.
.Net framework.

I hate that thing.

I guess there are going to be even more apps that use it now that everything is being pushed towards Vista.
It's such a shame.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you pplknownothin. I' e been using batch files for this but unfortunately can't test their usefulness on vista. I think adding the two delete commands should work, the only problem I can see is if somebody keeps a "documents" folder on XP or vice versa. ...

So you coded this app yourself AND could afford to thinstall it?
I'm impressed but wouldn't it be easier for a dev to recode an app.

*sigh*

Did you also "create" the portable MagicISO and Iso Buster on your download page too?

first thing to do is check your drive consistency. I've not heard of anti-viruses conflicting with defragmenters but a couple of small errors on your disk will throw it all off. I recommend chekdisk or norton disk doctor. (Disk doctor writes to the reg if that's important to you but can be run from ...

It was worth an extra mention anyway :)
The only reason I remember it was here is because 99.5% of the time if I have it it was from here.

I've been making really lightweight launchers for simple apps with this.
It's become pretty essential lately for me.

This is a very handy tool (for me) It has been mentioned on the board before
and a possible explanation for the false positive can be found there.

Quick review

Strange portable program this on my system I have an ini in the windows folder, a crcnat.exe in the system32 folder and the default installation directory is C:\program files\ ..... I'm not sure Comodo knows what portable means. To be truthful, I'm skeptical about anything from Comodo after using th...

Revo should pretty much do the job. Just select advanced and after the uninstaller fails follow through and delete what is left over. If there are stubborn entries try unlocker to delete any files and JV16's search or Regassassin to remove reg entries Of course if all else fails: dereks boot n nuke ...

Thanks m^(2), as usual you're way ahead of me here. I'm using this for a simple portable launcher (I don't get on with Nsis or Autohotkey) so the separate application may be too much. I've already exported to separate reg files using the regedit E/ switch how can I merge them? Is this a manual proce...

HELP

Does anybody know ow to export multiple reg keys to one .reg file using a cmd (batch) command?

I've Googled til my eyes are sore but the only answer I can see is on Experts Exchange and I'm not gonna pay to be told it's not possible.
