Re: YUMI

This is definitely worthwhile.

Its complicated enough to justify keeping UUSB (Its not over duplication, so don't replace UUSB.)

Re: Add specific protection to a pdf file

Not a suggestion but ...

A doctor friend gave me a flash drive it had a promotional PDF.

The pdf was neither editable or delete-able.

On dissection the flash drive's breadboard was cut to prevent write access.

The cut was jagged and allowed the drive to work read only.

Re: FBI MoneyPak Virus

Thanks For your replies.

(If all goes well I will not need to go in person.)

(If it does not go well I may talk them into a dual booting Net-Top with Browser Linux as second boot.)

FBI MoneyPak Virus

Has anyone here (TPFC) had any experience with this problem the "FBI MoneyPak Virus".

I have been helping a computer Illiterate relative over the phone and so far nothing I talked them through worked.

The free anti-virus, anti-malware, etc that I have tried have failed me so far.

Re: Browser choice

Firefox because nothing else is equivalent yet (With add-ons.)

I regularly launch 1 different browser (almost every day) and use them for 1/2-1hour a day.

That said updates are crazy and I dislike many new features that copy other browsers.

This is great ....

Re: Links Web Browser

This browser (LINKS) failed me, this was possibly hardware related.

I have just today tried its older brother LYNX in PAF format, LynxPortable was first mentioned by ABC

Re: PrivaZer v1.1.318

PrivaZer refuses to launch if the Language is set to Chinese PRC. This occurs with the installer and the (built elsewhere) portable build. Instead of launching the software a message is given that PrivaZer will be available in your language soon and a webpage is launched. My computer is set to Chine...
