Re: Power Plan switching using "Battery Mode Portable"

Looks nice but couldn't find a way to set the language. It's starting in non-English and there's no setting to change it. Or perhaps it's untranslated because there are a few empty lines in the right-click menu.

Plus writes settings to registry: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Battery Mode".

Re: CloudShot - screen capture program

Very nice! Entering "./Captures" to the "Settings->Local/Network folder -> Save location" will save captures/recordings to the application folder.

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

Interesting, thanks.

I just re-analyzed v0.7.1.4 which had 1/54 before but now it shows 6/54.
v0.7.1.0 had 2/54 and now has 7.

Re: Lightscreen - Screencapture tool

Interestingly I just started to re-utilize LightShot a month or two ago. I usually use IrfanView with PrintScr button (via PowerPro) to capture screenshot + F12 to quickly add rectangles or arrows. But that looked less professional so I started using LightShot again. Then I found that it has a Chrom...

Re: TreeProjects is now freeware

Thanks Ennovy & Midas! I've tried it at the morning and I also saw something's not right with its portability. Here's the yaP ini using Midas' config.

Re: HTTPS for TPFC

We have letsencrypt on one site and its working fine, though the entire process is managed by our host provider (in fact, we have requested this feature and they built a cPanel addon).

There is some performance hit but it's not really noticable.

Thanks, will update soon. Software development management is a separate profession in which I do not excel I'm afraid :)

Believe me I had tough times to name this :) I guess you know that one of the hardest things in programming is adding meaningful names. Anyway, if you have a better suggestion then it's welcomed :)

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

I'm afraid you can't do it directly (in one go). How about deleting before starting to copy settings to the portable dir? I think you'll need to use "restore" to avoid the "dir" command execute automatically first.

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

In this case JAVAEXE is the main application so that's why workdir needs to be set explicitly. I came across only a few apps that need this.

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

Thanks! Just uploaded v0.7.1 which probably fixes this. First I thought I haven't included this because of a PureBasic limitation but it seems it was only a typo. Note that the "Default" reg value will be ignored inside keys. That is, the key will be deleted if there's the "Default&qu...

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

What do you mean on updating the OP? There's nothing about version info there, but maybe we are not talking about the same post (the first post in this topic). Maybe you mess it with the original post that I left there (for history books of the future, of course :)).

Re: Efforts to convert the site over to PNG-format images

It may, I just mentioned Kraken to show a simple way to check before-after sizes. I often use their free service to quickly optimize images, and sometimes hundreds of them in one go. One drawback is that it offers downloading images in one flat zip file, which isn't convenient when you have images i...
