Idea for the PStart Developer
Add a flag to the groups, allowing the end user to designate which groups can start all programs and which can't. That would allow the functionality to be used by those who want/need it and bypassed by those who don't want an 'accident'.

I mainly use a Western Digital 120GB USB drive which I can attach to any of a Work WINXP laptop, a Personal PCLOS/WINXP laptop, and several personal (various linux) desktops. I also use a Staples Relay 512MB USB drive for 'front pocket' emergency situations. And I carry a couple of other USB sticks ...

Portable Java on the way
Actually, there is a way to set up a portable implementation of Java that can be used within Open Office Portable being discussed at the PortableApps.com forums. In the Beta Testing forum under Open Office.org 2.2.
