Re: PSA: Uninstall Avast Free

Unfortunately, this doesn't inspire confidence at any level, meaning people are less likely to trust ANY security tools or services. Fewer people using security software to avoid privacy breaches like this is going to mean more malware goes further. I don't see any positives here. Exactly. Leaders ...

Re: PSA: Uninstall Avast Free

In a tweet sent last month intended to entice new clients, Jumpshot noted that it collects "Every search. Every click. Every buy. On every site" [emphasis Jumpshot's.] Jumpshot's data could show how someone with Avast antivirus installed on their computer searched for a product on Google,...

Re: AutoText.exe what key or hotKey do I press ?

Is there a way to not use Start-Chr ? So far , If no Start-Chr is used , it always defaults to "." . I would rarely use a "." in front of vm . Mode A doesn't use a start character, only the search characters. For instance, type "vm" as the search text and the select wi...

Re: AutoText.exe what key or hotKey do I press ?

I assume that you are using mode B by entering the start character and then the first characters of the search name. The entry of your DataFile (standard.txt) should look like the below. "vm" is the search name and vmars316 is the replacement text. It will be automatically numbered: vm~vma...

Re: AutoText.exe what key or hotKey do I press ?

There is another program named AutoText program by JitBit, and there is the AutoText in the TPFC database. The AutoText in the TPFC database isn't very intuitive and it takes reading the limited instructions in the Help -About menu plus using it to learn how it works. AutoText is text insertion prog...

Re: Exact Audio Copy

why 32bit ? the program is 64bit (cuetools) Hi, After your question I looked at CueTools again and it appears that it's both 32 and 64 bit. Since there is only one executable, CueTools.exe, it looks like the application detects and executes in 32 or 64 bit mode depending on the system. I assumed it...

Re: Exact Audio Copy

is there even a config for CUETools There isn't an example config file for CueTools on the yaP site. However, CueTools is listed in the TPFC database, and according to the entry, it writes some files to AppData. Although I've never used CueTools, I do have it installed and took a quick look in AppD...

Re: yap and exact audio copy

There is a yaP configuration file for EAC on the yaP examples page. If it's not working correctly because of changes to yaP or EAC, it might need to be revised slightly.

The direct link for the EAC yaP ini file is:
