i have to enter it manually every time, which gets a bit frustrating when scanning a lot of pictures from Epson dialogs Optional Settings [x] Show Add Page dialog after scanning If you are scanning a multi-page document using the PDF or Multi-Tiff format, select to display a prompt for scanning add...

Re: Portable Start Menu

It was generally quoted as portable version on download sites cnet etc and not very portable if you need to install framework 4 also agree when it's loaded it writes to a \Power8_Team directory in %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data you could try to copy that folder on and off target machi...

Re: Keeping UniExtract up to date

smallhagrid I am not associated with Gora (I'm just 50 shades of a lurker) I too have been "uncomfortable" about some versions of UE purporting to be legit as Gora himself (one of the more prolific) early UE developer warns "there are many versions" out there his own Universal_Extractor_1.7.9.95_sl2...

Re: Portable Start Menu

Most win8 replacement start menus hook into the target system (I favour Classic Shell)

The most lightweight / "portable" I can suggest but I avoid 8 so have not tried them are

PSMenu (Portable start menu)
or
Power8

let us know what you like best or end up using

Cheers

Re: Keeping UniExtract up to date

Midas Reversing others works is a plagerism topic that we all like to avoid (thus the main issues between Gora and others leading to him to use obscuration) it is much simpler to fork forwards from last PD version with a public "open" discussion on prefered "enhancements" especially as some of those...

Re: Keeping UniExtract up to date

Lupo There were several "forks" of Nitro322 (Jared) / Amritius's Universal Extractor note that Gora was very helpful much of the time towards Jared's final 1.6.1 release 1.6.5 aka 1.7 by Amrit / SevenOptimus was modified in the spirit of the one on legroom ("Open" au3 source) Gora (& Ricktendo conti...
