Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

So they are not normal but I don't think they're worth the effort. Yes, after stepping through the batches' execution, I was able to trace where the errors where coming from. I agree, it's a simple cost/benefit equation, and if the output is hidden, it's an absolute non-issue. But... (see below) ya...

Re: Law professor says file sharing not theft...

The Powers That Be have expended tremendous effort trying to convince us that copyright infringement is a horrifying offense against humanity. They have mostly failed, much to their annoyance, but elements of their propaganda have become permanently lodged in our psyches. Now a large portion of the...

yaPed another program, Sigil (epub editor): http://www.filedropper.com/yap-sigil-05x

Hope I was better this time. Comments welcome, as always. :)

P.S.: Is there an easy way to change yaP's icon? As things are, all portables will have the same icon (unless shortcuts are tweaked, that is)...

Re: Keeping UniExtract up to date

@Lupo77: Thanks, will check it... @all: info I gathered posted at program entry comments http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=641#23005 Related to this. I downloaded Universal_Extractor_1.6.1.59_sl2p_120228_11-07.7z from the OSZone.net forum thread where Gora posts his updates ( http://forum.oszone.n...

Re: Keeping UniExtract up to date

Posted at program entry , but I think I should post it here too... Lately, I've been using the Universal Extractor 1.6.1 mod by Gora , which has a very convenient (auto-)update function. Using that, I managed to update it up to version 1.6.1.58k ; but a few weeks back it stopped updating itself, and...

Re: DropIt

This just to report that my problem has been solved by the latest DropIt Beta version directly provided by Lupo77 (Thanks). Another note: DropIt progress bar (when it activates) seems to steal focus from other applications, which can rapidly become a nuisance; it would be better to have it 'always o...

Re: CD Manipulator

What changes did you make compared to the Rizone version? And do you have a download link too? Mostly cosmetic, since on my XP Pro SP3 it looked nothing like the screenshot (the interface reverted to a 11pt System font), so I had to resource hack the dialogs to Tahoma 8pt font; while I was at it, I...

Re: DropIt

@Midas: it may works, but you could test some alternatives to verify where it doesn't work.. you could use "%PortableDrive%\Store\!Incoming" as destination (to be relative to the drive root) or try to monitor "%Desktop%" instead of "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop" (because maybe there is a problem loading %...
