Re: Would an unofficial IRC channel for TPFC be OK?

I completely understand, webfork, and I'm participating at this thread here only to suggest and to promote XMPP which gives a lot of control to individuals (not big-business).
I've edited post number 31067 (Jappix) http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/ ... 067#p31067

Re: Would an unofficial IRC channel for TPFC be OK?

Who knows, maybe it will cause to a major change on TPFC?

Edit: What I like with Jabber is that I have a personal account like AIM/ICQ/MSN etc. and I can join to chat rooms like IRC and I believe that this will cause a change (at least, for me)

Re: Would an unofficial IRC channel for TPFC be OK?

...finally, I'm commenting on this thread... Andrew, may you, please, install a Jabber/XMPP server at portablefreeware.com and we all be able to chat at tpfc@conference.portablefreeware.com or tpfc@muc.portablefreeware.com (depends on which server software you're installing, I believe) ? Jabber/XMP...

Re: my last comment

If someone worries...

I'm no longer working at this office :P
The stupid "trainer" begged me to stay and I refused.

Now I'm working in Ramat Gan (4 month left to the bar examination) :P

Re:

Your question may be way off topic, but I do not think it is stupid to ask it here, even if you are not currently active at TPFC. Neither asking as such is stupid nor your question, so why not. :) What exactly do you mean by "taken illegally"? Is that some kind of settler's problem in Isr...

Re: NEKO the cat

Well, I just found Xeyes for ReactOS/Windows in the same way :S I used to use a tiny app called Nekko (Japanese for "cat") in win98 that put a little cat that follows your cursor, or you could set her to scamper randomly on your desktop. OMG, how I missed this little kitty (since windows 9...
