It looks like the link to the .zip file hasn't been updated to the newest version, as of 1/19/12 @~11:14AM PST. Simply replace the digits in the link to reflect the version number.

Disk Alignment Test

For those of you lucky enough to have newer hard drives that support " Advanced Format ," here is a tool to test to make sure you're getting all the performance this technology offers. It's called "Disk Alignment Test" and it claims to be portable, although I haven't verified it....

As the password can be gleaned from the hash, you should remind users that they should change their password on any other sites that they use the same password on (ebay, paypal, bank, forums) with the same email or login. That's the most critical thing to do when a hack like this occurs because the...

I think I agree that perhaps this may not be the best way to handle updates. Can we do anything to promote a change?

There seems to be another update for MP3 Cutter and Editor. While the site suggests that it's still at version 2.5, there seem to be numerous mini-updates: the latest is version 2.5.0.441. It is a program which auto-hides (and un-hides) the icons on a user's desktop, allowing for a cleaner interface. It is configurable, allowing for several different settings.
