EDIT : Oh and I found the program this reminded me of: CinemaDrape: https://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=21981 I actually tried that when I was looking for something to block face cams with back before I made my AHK script that FaceCam Cover is based on. ^-^ Release: v1.0.2 -...

Re: FaceCam Cover Submission

Thanks for posting but could you bring the post a little closer to the format used by other entries? For example the other entries don't list hash values and we don't start entries with questions like "having problems with X?" Fixed. I admit I was copying from my readme cause the description just d...

ReactOS Kickstarter

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/th ... ud-desktop

Almost done and I don't think it'll make it. :(
But thought I'd throw it out here anyways.

Re: KMPlayer and Temp33.exe (+other junk)

In conclusion: you did not get Temp33.exe and NPF.sys from the installer of The KMPlayer . Well I don't think Peerblock, Networx, Miranda, or my firewall just suddenly decided I didnt have enough spyware on my PC and installed it for me. >.> (IE: the only programs I had actively running at the time...

KMPlayer and Temp33.exe (+other junk)

So I loved KMP as a video player, but when I needed to watch .flv files, I ditched it for VLC. When I seen the update on the front page, I downloaded it (from the Download link here at TPFC) and installed it as portable. Originally I was going to do a post this weekend about how it has a startup web...

Re: Node-Webkit

Not meaning to be arguing with you today. :P But, I've seen some ugly Windows programs over the years too, (some Horribly Horribly ugly :P), but as long as it works and does what it's supposed to who cares? The GUI can always be changed/updated if the developer cares enough about the users when they...

Re: Dealing with Windows 8

I actually think subscription model is a good idea. The Windows model of an expensive lifetime license with security updates for over ten years has lead to the sorry situation where ancient versions of Windows are still used. :( You mean like a lot of us who still run XP? By that do you mean we sho...
