Re: Dark mode
I added the second version to style.css , but it doesn't seem to do anything after setting appeareance to "Dark" on Chrome. Read up a bit on "@media (prefers-color-scheme: dark)" as well. Don't you need to refine at least the "body" tag in order to set a dark backgroun...

Done.Andrew Lee wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 8:09 pm I have downvoted the MP3Gain database entry.
Need at least one of you to give it one more nudge to bring the score below 10 so that it will turn private.
Thanks!

Re: smplayer: make speed -10% global for all in playlist
One option is to mess with the global speed setting. Open Options -> Preferences -> Advanced -> MPlayer/mpv, and add --speed=0.9 (or any speed you like) to the Options field. You can them remove it once you've listened through the whole playlist.

Re: My Mobile has very sound output.
If it's an Android phone, another thing you could try is installing a full-blown custom ROM. Those usually allow you to exceed usual volume safety limits. To find them you can search XDA-Developers forums, or outright type "[phone model] custom rom" in your favorite search engine.

Re: Software and Computer Reliability
I get the "it's just a tool" argument. I think it's a great tool to help scientists, doctors or engineers improve productivity. But when you get laypersons to start eg. talking to AI doctors and take in their recommendations without expert verification... am I the only one who thinks that...

Absolutely. It's important people know of security updates as soon as possible.Stephen Leibowitz wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 12:08 pm My question is, is it OK for me to update the TPFC database for vulnerability or other bug fixes in Chrome? Updating the TPFC database for these fixes would likely put Chrome at the top of “Latest entries.”
