Re: Picture Viewers for Very Large Graphic Files

Re: Picture Viewers for Very Large Graphic Files

You can of course open it with SumatraPDF viewer, but then on my knackered underpowered 2GB craptop that's the only meaningful way to read any big pdfs, your mmv with a super-duper-computer, it can in SumatraPDF be SAVED AS PDF, but its still 174MB and eats 500MB whilst slowly zooming but its MUCH q...

Re: VirtuaWin

@ giulia

Look at the first HELP entry in "Hidden Configuration Options"

you need to manually edit the .\config\virtuawin.cfg file changing the initial (or startup) desktop of VirtuaWin to #.
by default it is set to
initialDesktop# 0
in your case try for second screen
initialDesktop# 2

Re: DropIt

OK now you understand the structure of the external call you should be able to apply that to an internal rule so if you mix the core of the cmd and past it in the dropit actions field you should be able to dispense with those helper.cmd s for the quoted bits below KEEP whatever dropit syntax your ar...

Re: DropIt

jordy Is %ParentDir% necessary? the idea is that dropit either uses the known location of any files with same name e.g. "%ParentDir%\%FileName%*" for action with each and any filename found as a group = parent path\basic name without extension or passes that info to an external command whi...

Re: DropIt

Hi jordy, Kieran again If you look at what your asking in program terms it is along the lines of 1. need to find the name of the main file e.g. My Video File.mkv 2. then based on its size use that filename to move all files with that name and any.ext to the target folder this is the type of task whe...

Re: DropIt

@jordy1955 glad I could help though its still a mystery to me exactly how each \d component works, I must RTFM. It would help if there was some "idiots guide to AutoIt RegEx" showing real world examples such as yours also be nicer if drop-it shows the "real time" effect on a bunc...

Re: DropIt

Hi Jordy 1955 Im a novice at regex I think there is a way to add case insensitive queries, but my suggestion is, as you say to perhaps have four rules S with e s with e S with E s with E if files match one of those rules I think can be "recursed" to a combined second action but have not re...

Re: For any portable Perl apps two Strawberry variants Jan 2

@Webfork

True Perl same as DOS underlying Windows was CLI

Many Perl apps can be GUI depending on the toolkit as an example see http://www.prima.eu.org/big-picture/

If you think the user-base is too miniscule freely delete this "portable freeware" thread

Re: DropIt

@jordy 1955 since this is a quick of the cuff reply you may want to want to see if others have a better answer I havent used drop-it for a while but you could replace the second part ;* s*e*" with ;*s..e*" where the dots force the s and e to be 2 characters apart eg s01e## however that wou...
