Re: FastCopy

Sorry for the late reply. Been really busy. Anyways, yes! The link to it is here:
https://mega.nz/#F!AQdnjCZY!3GArlx0Zrc36iIUd8dGm7A

In addition, the folder also includes what other version of FastCopy I have. It's not very thorough but it is what it is.

Re: FastCopy

@webfork Yeah, FastCopy is definitely the best of the bunch by far. So I'm also surprised and a bit sad to see that the source code is currently withheld for some reason. Anyways, I do have both the installer AND the source code for 3.63, the very last version before this happened. I will most likel...

Re: Bvckup 2 (commercial version)

The developer has been quite slow about changing the software licenses as announced. He announced that he will "soon" change the licenses about a bit more than a year back, lol. Since then, I have bought several licenses. But yeah, this is one of those few software that I actually buy (oth...

Re: Sublime Text

It looks pretty amazing. The screenshot over on Ghacks has a big "UNREGISTERED" in the title bar, which got me curious how much it goes for and it looks like it's running $80 (USD). Though if it's the same as version 2, it will be simply nagware and will never expire. Similar to how WinRA...

Re: RapidCRC Unicode

Haha. But yes, it's worth it to learn. I would recommend you read the tutorial from Just Great Software. It's a really well done tutorial and Just Great Software developers are known regex gurus. You can get it in PDF format on this page for EditPadPro demo https://www.editpadpro.com/download.html. ...

Re: RapidCRC Unicode

Lol! That was just me. I just decided to explain what each component of the expression means. If you hadn't noticed the date posted on that is after my post here. EDIT: Odd. It shows that I posted an hour earlier on there then it is here. Either I'm going crazy or editing posts updates the time. Eit...

Re: RapidCRC Unicode

*puts on smartass hat*

Or this (look at attachment).

Code: Select all

(\s|_)(\[|\()[0-f]{8}(\]|\))
At least with this, it will ONLY remove the CRC32 checksums and not just any random 11 characters.

I uploaded it here:

@ Stoik
Have you considered MultiCommander? I think it also fit the requirements too, right?

Re: XYplorerFree

Yes the last free version is indeed 17.40.0.100. I can get it uploaded from the Unofficial XYplorer Archive when I get home as I'm one of the contributors there. Only issue is I need to find a good place to upload it too. Maybe just MediaFire or something... Anyways it's unfortunate about the free v...

@ smaragdus
Thank you very much for the guidance about the portability of SyncBackFree! It will now be on my USB at all times with my other various portable tools.

Re: FreeFileSync

I have taken a screenshot now. According to some people on FreeFileSync forums, he also removed the option to install the program silently. Anyways, yes I will go back to using SyncBackFree in the future whenever someone needs syncing or backing up. I completely forgot about it for some reason even ...

Re: FreeFileSync

Woah. Although I stopped using FreeFileSync, today I decided to use it for a friend by actually installing it. Going through the install process, I found out that starting with version 8.7, you have to pay to use the program in portable mode. In addition to the fact that many people have issues with...

Re: Image Viewer Usage Tests

My primary general purpose image viewer these days is HoneyView. Really like it for archived images/comics and animated images. It has a setting in Image Processing where you can adjust the the amount of memory it will use for caching the next image or you can disable caching completely. By default...

Re: Process Lasso

Haha no problem! And yes it's a single version only. Though in the past, I did update past that single version a couple times and it continued to work for several versions. That's not guaranteed though so before you try it, definitely backup the original given version haha.

Re: Process Lasso

Just checked back into this after a similar program was mentioned. It's now nagware with limitations after 30 days. https://bitsum.com/howfree.php No. It's the same as before. It's always been nagware and the limitations they listed has only been re-written to make it sound more severe but it's pre...
