Re: CHK

Off-topic These idiots at Postimage.org are sabotaging my work constantly changing links, I had to re-upload a couple of images to another, better provider to make them visible again. I curse the day I registered at Postimage.org - this is a totally unreliable service, I don't know how many of my p...

Re: ScreenToGif

A commercial company- Apowersoft, is trying to sell ScreenToGif as a commercial product- Apowersoft GIF, see this issue at GitHub. This is outrageous.

Re: BriskBard

@salvadordf Thank you for the detailed response. My test last night was brief and superficial. When I have time I will have another look and perhaps I will suggest some improvements too. Now I will suggest only one thing- improvement of speed dial. You may make the usage of the speed dial easier an...

Re: BriskBard 1.8.0

Someone who has time, network expertise and appropriate tools (for example Wireshark ) may check BriskBard for unsolicited connections and background requests. In my opinion a closed source browser cannot be trusted. I have tested several versions in the past ( 1.3.0 , 1.3.2 , 1.6.0 ) which I immedi...

Re: Auto Screen Capture 2.2.0.10

As of version 2.2.0.10 Auto Screen Capture seems fully portable at first glance- settings files ( XML ) are saved inside program folder: C:\Folder\Auto Screen Capture\!autoscreen\screens.xml C:\Folder\Auto Screen Capture\!autoscreen\screenshots.xml C:\Folder\Auto Screen Capture\!autoscreen\triggers....

Re: Tom's Viewer

@Tom

Welcome to the forum. Since Tom's Viewer does not have its own forum this thread can be used as a forum.

I too would appreciate an option to disable generation of Thumbs.tdb.

@zorro

I forgot to mention that the use of the thumbnails panel creates Thumbs.tdb in the browsed folder.

Re: Tom's Viewer

The developer reminded me that I did not mention the thumbnails panel, screen: https://images2.imgbox.com/00/49/eULMokaD_o.png The thumbnails panel can be accessed via the 'Browse Images' tool bar button (the second one from left to right). Edit The developer also informed me that Tom's Viewer may w...

Tom's Viewer

Preamble I have always appreciated slim, light and simple programs. Some time ago I came upon such a program which turned out to be rich, powerful and sporting an elegant GUI to boot- Tom's Viewer . I found out that it was portable by design. I liked this image viewer immediately, thought of possib...

Re: MusicPlayer2

@billon Thank you for the kind welcome. In short- there are some programs I have to review as their developers were kind to implement my suggestions. I forgot to mention that the player looks better for me when Use album cover as background is disabled. I don't have time to produce new screen-shots.
