ChordEase 1.0.09 adds MIDI synchronization, cycle of thirds
The latest version of ChordEase (1.0.09) can be synchronized with an external device. Many ChordEase users requested this feature. Timing synchronization is implemented via MIDI clock messages, combined with the Start, Stop, Continue, and Song Position MIDI messages. ChordEase can be a slave or a ma...

Re: ChordEase
Hi, I noticed a couple of minor errors. "Stealth" is "No", but this was a misunderstanding on my part: it should be "Yes". Also, in the "How to extract" instructions, the app name is misspelled (it's missing the 'h'). I tried to fix these myself but it seems I...

Re: ChordEase
I feel like I should take the time to explain why ChordEase is useful and why anyone should care about it and/or nominate it for inclusion in TPFC. It seems fair to say that ChordEase is much more difficult to "market"* than WaveShop because it's potentially useful to a relatively smaller ...

Re: ChordEase
FWIW I attempted to submit ChordEase directly to the database just now. I followed the instructions as best I could and I'm pretty sure it worked, but I'm unclear on how to check that. Do I understand correctly that it won't be visible in the search unless someone votes for it? I don't remember this...

ChordEase
ChordEase makes it easier to play music with complicated chords. No matter what the chords are, you can play as if they were all in the key of C. You don't need to play sharps or flats, because ChordEase automatically adds them for you. Though ChordEase is intended for jazz, it could be useful for a...

Re: WaveShop 1.0.13 has a more modern look
After the ordeal, it turned out pretty good, IMHO. Well I guess they're a little boring but at least they're familiar and easily understandable. Some icons are too cute and it becomes hard to figure out what they do. But there are still serious problems. For example, the new toolbar does NOT work i...

Re: WaveShop 1.0.13 has a more modern look
those non-ARGB icons :) Well there might be hope for ARGB icons after all. I don't give up easily, and it was really starting to get on my nerves. Quite a few people have complained about it actually, and so many other developers have managed ARGB somehow or other. So I fortified myself with a star...

Re: WaveShop 1.0.13 has a more modern look
update Waveshop's icon to a more alpha-blended look, too. 8) What? You don't like aliasing? I'm deeply shocked. :) Truth be told, Microsoft makes it insanely, excruciatingly, absurdly difficult to use ARGB images in Visual Studio 2008 (which is what I use), particularly for toolbars. For individual...

This is already supported, via the Colors button, on the View page of the Options dialog. See also this manual page.tproli wrote:Perhaps blue (or other) wave color should also add to the user experience (instead of the black).

WaveShop 1.0.13 has a more modern look
WaveShop 1.0.13 has a more modern appearance, and also fixes some minor bugs. The major change is that WaveShop now uses Common Controls 6.0, AKA the XP theme. This gives the app a more modern appearance, and makes it more compatible with Windows 7 and Aero. This change also fixes an otherwise unsol...

Re: WaveShop Portable - 32-64bit
Does Recording also support global hotkeys? That would be awesome! Just to follow up on this issue: as of version 1.0.9, WaveShop now supports global hotkeys for starting/stopping recording, along with one-touch recording, sound-activated recording, and scheduled recording (via Task Scheduler and a...
